Why It Started

Grief has entered my life on more than one occasion but in 2024 I had to say goodbye to my beautiful girl, Cookie. She had brought so much joy and happiness into my life, and the pain of her passing made me realise how much time and energy I was wasting on things that didn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.

This Edited Life was borne out of my desire to reconnect with Minimalism and its principles and, ultimately, to start making more room for what matters to me in life while I still have the privilege of doing so.

Hi! I’m Jo

One of my core values is to be more mindful and intentional with how I live my life. It’s easy to forget how short life is and that we only get one shot here on Earth. I want to savour my time in this world and be as present as I can be. If you feel similarly, you’re in the right place!
